The bed he was in had a huge hole in it and when asked to have it replaced or at least turned over there was no assistance. He ended up with a class 2 bed sore because they never turned him and the mattress was not modern at all which would have compensated for his movement. He was scheduled to get physical therapy and he never once saw a PT.
The facility itself was nice, I never smelled anything bad, but they definitely need to fire the kitchen manager. She refuses to do her job for the residents safety. My mother was a resident for 5 months until her passing. The staff were very and attentive to my mother and our families needs. I had great comfort in knowing she was safe and every need was met. This facility was a blessing when I could no longer care for her at home.
